Richard S. Salinas has over 30 years of civil trial experience in both Federal and State courts. Mr. Salinas has been called upon to handle cases all over California in a variety of matters involving claims of personal injury, premises liability, and professional and medical liability. Mr. Salinas is a recognized specialist in medical and professional defense and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. Mr. Salinas’ experience includes representing physician and physician groups from Bakersfield to Modesto and he is lead defense counsel for four California hospitals.
Special Awards and Honors
Mr. Salinas’ trial experience over the last 30 years has earned him honors not given to just anyone. He has repeatedly been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer, an honor given to the top 4% of Northern California lawyers. Mr. Salinas has also been selected by the American Board of Trial Advocates in recognition of his past trial experience. Mr. Salinas has also been selected to be a member of the California Medical Legal Society and the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys.

Stacy R. Lucas
Stacy R. Lucas has 18 years of experience in civil litigation in both Federal and State courts. Ms. Lucas’ experience includes defending physicians, hospitals, and physician groups in medical-legal matters. Ms. Lucas also has significant experience defending employers and insurance companies in employment litigation, workers’ compensation claims, and labor relations matters. Ms. Lucas has co-chaired jury trials and handled administrative law hearings. She also gained extensive civil litigation experience in the areas of personal injury, toxic torts, medical malpractice, and class action litigation.
As a partner with Salinas Law Group, Inc., Ms. Lucas specializes in medical malpractice defense, specializing in the representation of health care providers in all specialties. Ms. Lucas is a member of the Fresno County Bar Association.

Lindsey R. Fries
Lindsey R. Fries attended the University of Mississippi, in Oxford, Mississippi, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications with a minor in Business Administration. During her undergraduate career, she spent a semester at Disney University participating in the Disney College Program where she worked in the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida.
Following graduating from the University of Mississippi, Ms. Fries attended Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi. She graduated with her Juris Doctorate in December of 2020. While in law school, Ms. Fries completed a fellowship with Mississippi’s 20th Circuit Court District, an internship with 20th District Attorney’s Office, and an internship with the Mississippi National Guard JAG. She was actively involved in the Women’s Student Bar Association, was a Lexis Nexis Ambassador, and served as President of the Public Interest Law Group.

Abigail R. Leaf
Abigail graduated with Highest Honors from the University of California at Davis in 1995 with a degree in International Relations. During her undergraduate training, she studied Spanish at UC Davis and United States – Mexico Political Relations at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. She went on to become a Federal Investigator for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. In 1997, Abigail decided to pursue a graduate degree and earned a Juris Doctor from UC Davis School of Law (King Hall) in 2000.
Since 2000, Abigail’s practice has included personal injury defense, family law, medical malpractice, medical/nursing/pharmacy board matters and employment law. Abigail has also litigated plaintiff’s matters involving personal injury and product defect issues. At Salinas Law Group, Inc., Abigail specializes in medical malpractice defense, representing health care providers in all specialties.
Abigail is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, on the board of American Board of Trial Advocates, rated AV Preeminent via Martindale-Hubbell and a member of the California Medical Legal Committee. Aside from providing excellent legal service, Abigail’s greatest satisfaction is being there for her clients during stressful times. Personally, Abigail enjoys her family, raising three adopted siblings and cooking.

Jerry D. Jones
Jerry is a seasoned trial lawyer who has tried more than 80 cases to verdict. He handles medical malpractice cases and is a member of the California Medical Legal Committee. Jerry grew up in Fresno and graduated summa cum laude from California State University and received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame. Upon graduation from law school, he joined the Fresno County District Attorney’s office and rose to the position of Chief Deputy District Attorney, supervising the Homicide and Felony Trial teams. He then transitioned into civil law and has enjoyed more than 30 years of practice.
